04/02/2014

The Zorrotzaurre urban regeneration is one of the projects present in the exhibition “Archaeology of recent memory. City and territorial construction in Spain 1986 – 2012” inaugurated in Madrid last Thursday, January 30th. The exhibition reflects on the principal architectural works, urban transformations and new landscaping projects in the main Spanish cities over the last quarter of a century.

The cities chosen as representative of what has happened in those areas are: Bilbao (with the Zorrotzaurre project highlighted as part of the transformation of the Nervión estuary in the centre of the new metropolis), Madrid; Seville; Barcelona and Santiago de Compostela.

The exhibition is open to the public in the Círculo de Bellas Artes de Madrid until May 18th.
